Rotated my tires and found missing parts

When I rotated my tires (using my new Rennstands), I found the rear inner fenders were missing 3 plastic inserts which secure the inner fender well to the metal body. I had some extra ones so I added them but it's worth looking checking on your Model 3.

Were they missing on both the driver's and passenger's side ?

Mine is the same as well. It's probably very common

Completely normal. Not a problem unless your wheel well liner is sagging. Mine is missing at least 3 on each side.

Story is that Tesla quit putting all the wheel-well clips in a few months back. Tesla said they weren't needed. Eventually they may change the wheel-well liner design and not have the extra holes.
Mine is a Nov '18 build and did not have the clips either. Like most folks, I just added them myself.

Yeah mine is an august 2018 build missing them- service center said they're "supposed to be" missing and said it wasn't something to be fixed.

My wheel wells are the same. I heard some techs will add them for you and some will write it off as not needed.
