Two large SC locations less than 10 miles from each other?!

Yes, they are close together.

This has been discussed in the two existing threads for those two Superchargers.

Tesla is planning ahead. There are far more Teslas in California than any other state. The Model 3 will be initially delivered on the West Coast and no doubt primarily in California. The 5 freeway is the major north/south route. On busy travel weekends there have been many times when the Tejon SC and the Harris Ranch SC are overwhelmed. The Buttonwillow and Bakersfield locations will do a lot towards solving that problem. Likely the Tejon site cannot be expanded.

But the real question is when is Tesla going to provide some form our supercharger queuing or perhaps an Open Table like reservation that monitors your progress and dispatches you to a waiting stall?
