Totally cosmetic. Remove the wheel cover, clean it up a bit, reattach the wheel cover, then wait for another wheel to get curbed and have them touched up. Cosmetic damage isn't terribly expensive to repair.
That is actually very minor. There are places that repair alloy wheels and can make it look like nothing ever happened for less than $200. Totally safe to continue driving.
HAHAHA! The OEM ContiPros protect the Gemini wheel better than the replacement (OEM size) Michelin Pilot Sport S 4 A/S. The rims stick out so far I'm wondering if I should have put on a 50 instead of a 45!
Had the same happen to me. Almost bought a new one but instead I had it repaired for $150.00.
It looks brand new.
Ask your service center who they use for repair.
