Search in new forum isn't useful

    I don't think I have ever successfully found what I wanted with a search in the new forum. Today I was looking for an article I posted a long time ago: Call me paranoid.... I searched for "Peter_M pool noodle" - pretty specific search terms that are in the post, but it produced no results. I eventually found it by scanning through the list of all my posts.

    And sorry if there's another thread on this topic - I searched for "new forum search" and it came up with 79 articles about dashcams, washing cars, body work, ....

    Hello Peter, your claim is very real. I use a workaround that works very well.

    Google search with these terms. There is a reason Google is so successful, their core business works.

    I dont like that the search eliminates three letter words. So if I want to search for "CPO" I can't.

    I have a hard time finding things as well but I was able to find your Call me paranoid... thread by putting "pool noodle" in the Search field, "Peter_M" in the "Posted by Member" field and then I unchecked "Search this forum only".
