Anyone have a good review of them? Outside of their site
Show off your Tesla pictures!!
I just installed my seat covers today and look pretty good
those look pretty good, nice choice.
I went retro with a set of front seat sheepskins. In for just a few weeks, I like the comfort.
TechJunkie at youtube has several videos of the seat covers from taptes. unboxing and installing.
It seems the taptes seat covers fits greatly on M3
Your side airbags are in the seat. If you restrict them and get into a side impact accident they won’t perform as designed. So seat covers are pretty but unsafe in a Tesla.
Supposedly, the seat covers are designed to accommodate the side air bags.
Q: The front seats on a Tesla have airbags embedded in the sides, Will the airbags be covered?
A: We do consider this situation, so we've specially designed for the Tesla airbag, reserve the front seat airbag deployment. But we didn't test it before, so our company assumes no responsibility for anything with airbags accident.
How much you trust that is up to you. Wet Okole does a good job with the airbags, don't know about Taptes,
The covers look nice at first glance but I think I would prefer to spend 10× more and get a professional upholster. Unfortunately, I won't be able to unsee that car wrap.
Can't you just use a liquid treatment on the seats?
Considering that actual leather seats are coated with what is essentially plastic anyway, the same stuff should work for vegan leather too?
Leather Conditioners Are Junk! What You Should Be Using:
are there air bags in the rear seats? might just protect the rear from kids,.
What Wet Okole has done with the airbags? Cannot see any information on their website.
They test their seat covers - can't remember exactly what they do to make them with but here is a link...
Safety - Wet Okole Hawaii
Would love to see someone review these.
I think one of the idea of seat cover is to protect it against the sun and drying it out.
The seat covers look really and cost less than $500
This is my wife's car.
Which version is this?(color and texture) looks really good
white nappa. feels really soft.
unless it's that moronic infinity ad with a young guy eating a messy burger wearing an Italian suit in the front seat of his new car. A greasy glob of food on his cheek, a smirk on his face. most repulsive thing I can think of in an ad.
We've been used the seat covers for two weeks now and they still look really nice.
