FWIW I share Max's sentiment. It was clear EM pulled a 180...and it wasn't by accident; it isn't unhealthy to at least be intrigued by that.

It may be true that there are sheep...and there are shepherds. Maybe it's herding at work.
Lots of folks thinking TSLA will be back to business as usual. AKA tank more after this high.
180 as in more engaged vs last two years or 180 as in a switcharoo to RT/AI?
Don't sheep get culled, fleeced, and sent off to slaughter...?

TSLA can't catch a break. For once we have a positive outlook and the macros is utter crap. I haven't sold any CCs since two weeks ago and now afraid if we have a string of green macros will carry TSLA above 175. Anyone else sold/selling CCs here?

More engaged captures it, albeit at a high level...so it fits. It's EM using (seemingly all) available narratives, willingness to play the game, being less...himself. Overall it's a good sign...I think. But the change is a bit unnerving. Seems a bit tricky to take all at face value.

When I can. Not getting sufficient premium to make it worthwhile. I need to reduce my share count over time.

Seems I have experienced "culled" and "fleeced"; still around to fight another day though...so "maimed" but not "slaughtered"...yet.
I haven't been on this thread long but it seems you miss a lot of swings on this option stuff, and with gigantic numbers too. You are up overall I assume?
From the earnings call, the CFO believes the inventory build to reverse and a return to +fcf next quarter.
Edit: Taneja receives so much flak maybe because he sounds nervous but if you listen closely to his opening remarks, he is quite bullish and so many nuggets he disclosed like the above. Also, that ex-CT ramp, FSD rev recognition, auto gross margins have actually improved(!) due to further cost efficiencies.

yes, sold 5/3 -C170 way too early this morning for $2. Also have -C165 for this week, that I'm going to let decay as much as possible then roll them into next week 170 or above
those were set up since P&D, i think it will take time to unwind and closer to dte
S&P still in bearish sentiment anyway
