Hey everyone. I looked but couldn't find anything directly referencing this so thought I would ask the collective brain.
I have a late 2016 S 90D, HW 2.0 with EAP. Currently running 2019.20.1.
More out of curiosity than anything else, I inserted a properly formatted 128 Gb USB drive and left it for a few hours. No icon ever appeared on the console (which didn't really surprise me). After a few hours, I removed the drive (just pulled it since no icon to "end" it properly). Somewhat to my surprise, I have a bunch of 1 Kb files appropriately named from the three usual cameras and with appropriate time codes. They don't appear to have playable video - at least not so far, but I was surprised there was anything there at all.
Is this just some impotent code writing files without the appropriate 2.5 or > hardware behind it?
