Sentry mode not sending alert videos to my iPhone

I received the new UI update to my 2023 Model 3 a week ago. I know I should be getting video alerts sent to my phone when Sentry mode is triggered.
I am not.
Am I missing a setting?

A friend of mine has the model Y and showed me clips of regular sentry mode events (that did not trigger the alarm). They were in fact sent to his phone. So now I know for sure that the event does NOT have to trigger the alarm. However, I have the 2023 MX and still dont have it on mine

My understanding is that the Video Alert sent to the Tesla app is new as of the 2024.14.8 which I have.

I just checked with my Friend. He has version v433.5 The version you are describing is the software version inside the car. The versions for the app and car are different

I have the newest version of both the app and car software and for some reason it still does not work for me. Probably because I have the MX and we always get things last

Ah yes, I just looked my app, its v4.33.0-2668.

I just updated to v4.33.5-2673

I do have premium connectivity and am updated and its still on working. I suspect I have a check box unchecked somewhere.

all of a sudden now Im not even getting sentry event notification pop ups on my screen. I parked car today, was very careful to inspect both main screen and dash screen for notifications. There were none...However, when I check video, there was in fact a sentry clip recorded....Is anybody else having this issue now

I have had two pretty overt events that Sentry Mode failed to catch, yet it seems eager to record everyone loading groceries across the parking lot…

I’m convinced Sentry Mode is pretty useless…

Yeah I know, I specifically asked him if his actual alarm was triggered and he said no. It was just the regular sentry event you would get when something passes by,,,in this car it was that car in the distance
