Got my VIN (369)this morning. Order date of 9/7. In WI, but delivering to IL. SA said all deliveries after 1/15 are AMD. Have seen the Q on mud flaps. At least for WI/IL, he said they do not come with the car. Can’t wait to get a delivery date!

why? others with OD early September are just starting to get VINs. I am 9/13 and waiting for my EDD June to switch back to February.
Yes the option to hold came up on tesla.com's account page after a VIN was assigned

Wait what? He told you WI/IL cars do not come with Mud Flaps? My DC says they do and have had others in the Illinois thread confirm they got it also.
Aw dang, I'm also in WI, picking up from the Highland Park, IL location. Wasn't sure if mud flaps were included, so I was holding off on ordering the Rally Armor ones. This suggests that I might want to go ahead and order those soon.

HP is my DC also, as of last night when I spoke to them, Front Mud Flaps come standard.

Delivery day for me! Such a relief the wait is finally over. Will report back tonight with any helpful feedback from the delivery experience. I can tell you make sure your name in your Tesla profile is your full legal name, not just your preferred name or shortened name (ex: Mike vs Michael). They will use this for all of your documents, registration, title, etc. My docs were sent with the wrong name (my fault really). Anyway, maybe that helps someone out there to avoid a small fee down the road by switching it now.
Question. Once you get a Vin and place it on hold. Do they hold that same car for you or will you get the next car with same spec?
Got a VIN today, ordered 9/2/2021, located in the PNW. MYLR MSM, 5 seater, black, 20”
they will not hold the VIN for you, it will be given to the next person who is ready to take delivery and is asking for the same spec. You'll be put back in the queue for that spec.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know! Still might spring for the Rally Armor flaps, but I think I'll wait until the car is finally in hand.
Got a VIN 367, EDD within a week, waiting for the text
Just received a call from my SA and told me I should expect a VIN in the next 24-48 hours! Let’s see if it’s true!
