Setec CCS1 adapter near north Orange County

I'm thinking about buying the Setec CCS1 adapter since my work has a DC FC that I can use for free charging. However, I hear it can be finicky. Does anyone near the north Orange county area have one I can test with the charger before I order one? I have a 2018 Model 3 so I don't think the passive adapter will work. Thanks!

Do they also have CHAdeMO? If so, then CHAdeMO Adapter is likely a far safer bet.

They do but I loathe the idea of spending $400 on an adapter for a dying standard.
