Should I buy one, or both, of these Tesla charging accessories?

It's great to hear about range like that WhiteStar, so it seems I won't have too many problems. I just don't see myself schlepping in to a show ground to plug in, but I do see myself topping up a bit of range at a café in the Southern Highlands or in the Blue Mountains.

Mitchell (Tesla Charging Specialist - St Leonards) reckons that the main use of the upcoming 3 phase wall charger is for destination chargers, which fits your café (couldn't figure out how to get the é so I just copied yours) scenario, so you might want to consider dual chargers for your car to take advantage of this.

Definitely not speaking from experience though, just impatiently waiting for my machine. I'm investing the saving I made by de-optioning to the new Slipstream wheels into dual chargers!

The 10A travelling charger adaptor is rated at 1 phase 200-250 vac32A and 3 phase 380vac 16A. This suggests that if you have the right fittings you can get 11.5kVA (less for real power, maybe 10kW) from this adaptor. Has anyone verified if this is the case. The single phase wall charger with the unfortunate abbrev WC is definitely only single phase 40A.

Yes, it is the case. You can get the 3 phase tails from Tim at EVnomics. You also need the Euro adapter from Tesla.

It is quite expensive to buy in the parts to do this. If I could work out the functions of the pins I could make up my own 3 ph adaptor. Im an electrical engineer by academic training. 5 pins are ph2 ph2 ph3 N E and auxiliary pins which perhaps work out voltage drop in the lead.
I can use solar MC connectors which are nearly the right size & mould them into a safe package. If nobody knows Ill workout myself & post the results. Ive spent enough on this car!.
