Hi, it looks like Fayetteville GA may get a showroom just south of the Pavilion and possible service center this year. Tesla eyes automotive showroom site in north Fayetteville - The Citizen

Right now they are saying a SHOWROOM only...not a service center. The southside does need one though, so hopefully, that will come to fruition.

I just took a look at the meeting agenda and minutes for the council meeting back on April 21st. The plans do show a service area. Maybe that will be the case. Here is the link to the agenda packet that includes the drawings:

Thanks for the update on this new Tesla location approval by Fayetteville council. Looking forward to it opening later this year when Havertys close. Hope they will have public supercharging also.

Haverty‘s was out by the end of August, and work has begun on the new Tesla showroom and service center. Roof work and stucco/painting across the front of the building, starting at the right corner (service center area). Expect things will get more active after the Labor Day holiday.

Heavily enough. It’s also relatively central on the south side of town. The other ATL service centers are all on the north side, and in Atlanta traffic you never want to go from one side of town to another if you can help it. This center will serve not only the south Atlanta suburbs but also folks coming from Macon, Columbus and other points nearby.

While Kennesaw and Alpharetta are on the north side the Decatur service is kinda near the center (ITP). Still agree a south side is needed.

The Decatur location is 32 miles away from me here in Fayetteville, and this new one is only 3 miles. It’s on Ga. Hwy 85 south of the Atlanta airport (also Ga. Hwy 314 is only a block away).
The exterior painting is almost done and the service center drive in doors are in work now. Can’t wait to see the TESLA logo above the front entrance.

Lots of us in the Newnan, Sharpsburg, and Senoia area who are really going to love this location. Anytime you can avoid going inside the perimeter it's a good day.

They have added two more drive in doors on the left side of the building. Looked at the back of the building and it has a shipping dock with no changes in work.

Does anyone know how to change the name from “Showroom, Fayetteville, Ga.” to Showroom and Service Center, Fayetteville, Ga.? That would better describe the new facility now in work here.

Do we have any idea when this location will open? Will it have a supercharger?

My guess would be maybe mid December or January . I doubt they will have a Supercharger here due to limited parking lot space, but hope they will consider one at the Target store at the Fayette Pavilion less than a mile away. That would be midway between the East Point, McDonough, mid Atlanta and Newnan location . State Hwy 85 and 314 are adjacent to the Pavilion and 54 and 92 are near by.
