I recently purchased a used 2014 Tesla model S P85 and I've been really enjoying driving it. Something weird is happening though when I plug in my Zappi 2 charger. If I plug the car in during the evening and set the timer to start charging at 12.30am for 4 hours it only charges at 16 amps or 3.7kw. However, if I unplug it and plug it back in again it starts of at 3.7kw and then increases to 32 apps or 7.4kw charging speed. Can anyone help me understand what is going on here please? My old Nissan leaf simply charged at full power everything without having to worry about it. Thanks Chris
