He liquidated a bunch of his stock options so he could buy a 600sqft condo near the tesla where he works(maybe san fran?) He wont say but it was crazy expensive and he was renting but this was the only way he could afford to buy something.

If he works in SF that means he works at the showroom. If that’s the case, he may not want to get too comfortable.

Engineers work out of Freemont. If that’s the case, real estate is much more affordable in the area. But I guess “crazy expensive” is a relative term.

he works in freemont as an engineer not in sales. Maybe he bought in freemont area then. Its the only way he could afford to buy there.
