Not sure what the ROI is on Teslive for $250 + time off + hotel + transportation; I never thought of it that way as I just had a great time!
Not sure how long you can calculate to get an ROI on buying a Tesla, pencil-ing; I never thought of it that way as I just enjoy it every day.
Not sure how you can calculate a ROI on a vacation, etc.

No problem on not wanting to spend $1 per 1760 feet for the Tour de Tesla with a full police escort, swag and comradery;
I understand that there are 31 different flavors of ice cream and it may not be either of your flavor. No worries and wish you all the best!

2. This EVent is going to be H-U-G-E & will be near the order of magnitude of a Teslive event that you wished you had attended!

TdT on Tesla's EVents Page! Wow!!!

This is my post from last week only because some people have e-mailed me or told me that they don't much look at the EVents page but do the Cali Page so I wanted to put this one last pre-event post...

I could lead with the fact that we have 88 IN & 12 spots remain...
Actually, I guess I did lead with that...

But never mind that... Tesla Motors, a $20B company, has seen fit to publish:
Tour de Tesla on Tesla's EVents page!

I was talking with Elie who does these events for a few other high end car companies and he posed these 2 questions:

1. Do you think we could get Porsche to post a rally on their web site?
2. Do you think we could get 100 Mercedes S-Class owners to attend a So Cal car rally?

Tesla is more than a car company; its a way of life where PASSION is exuded from the company as well as Model S & Roadster owners!

$250 Market Research Opportunity

Apparently our "little" rally (125 Teslas) has been getting noticed here in So Cal!

A marketing company ([email protected]) is interested in 2 hours of your time.
If you own a Tesla Roadster or Model S and are willing to drive it to the San Fernando Valley
on a particular date (to be disclosed after you e-Mail them) in October, they will pay you $250!
You'd need to e-Mail the organizer your name and phone number or you can e-Mail THEM for more information.
I don't have anything more except to say that I do not get a single penny from promoting this
AND I've signed up with this person on a number of previous occasions and it was legit!
