does the speed adjust on auto pilot or auto steer? What I mean is suppose you are on auto steer or auto pilot and going 55 miles an hour in a 55 zone the speed limit changes to 45 should your speed automatically decrease to 45 or you need to do it manually? Also, what if the speed increases from 45 to 55?

It does …. You will be limited to 5mph above the posted speed limit. As long as the posted speed limit is at or below the speed you engaged AP at, the car will adjust appropriately (within the +5mph limit).

You could try …. But I’m not sure that will do anything. The autopilot functions are controlled by the “MCU” which is different from the processor that runs the screen. I have noticed that sometimes mine misses a speed limit change … so, not perfect. Also, I have EAP so maybe that makes a difference? Haven’t checked the manual lately ……
There also seem to be a couple other threads talking about the same issue ….
