Stopping music before answering phone call

Very often when I'm answering a call (not sure if it's every time), the person calling will briefly be able to hear the music I'm listening to during the overlap of music stopping and phone call answering. I'd be ok with pressing pause before answering, but my pause button goes away when a phone call is coming in and is replaced by the "answer call" button. Any workaround for this?

I think you can press the left scroll wheel to ‘pause’. Alternatively you could try to just turn the volume down before answering.
