So the reason Xformers are so rare is because there is a country making LOTS of them keeping down demand to ramp up production anywhere else, BUT we are afraid to put them in the ground because the Chinese would attack us? It also shipping 8 tons per transformer. Not very economical space wise. Will offset some of the cost savings. And most electronics from china haven’t passed any us regulatory approvals yet are still stamped as such. Regardless of spyware, I wouldn’t trust them on stuff like this. A $2 usb cable? Sure.
