I like the sentence: "... coming soon" LoL

So the request was submited last November 2022, and the permit issued in May 2023, about six months later.
I imagine that the Supercharger might be completed in about three months then, by September 2023.
But getting a new transformer from PG&E will take at least one year, like opening in 2024 or 2025 !!!

Not PG&E service area there but they get in PG&E's queue when they file for permits. SCE probably works the same way so chances are they've been in SCE queue for a transformer and to be interconnected all the way back to November.

I drove by yesterday. It’s not the parking spaces directly. In front of chipotle, it’s the ones just across the service road. I don’t think they get as much use, especially since the Puente Hills Mall is kind of dead these days. The area has been fenced off.

Stopped by today and took some photos. You can see over the fence from street level. Looks like good progress. I wonder if this will replace the “Back to the Future“ 72Kw Urban chargers that are about 200 yards away?

Some interesting developments. While I was there this morning I saw that some of the cones had been moved around to block the parking area in front of the chargers. There's also some more construction equipment and as I was taking pictures someone pulled into the charger, presumably to do something. I also saw someone from SCE doing something there yesterday so with all of this I'm hoping the transformer is going to be soon? Not to be too optimistic but I have my fingers crossed the charger will be open by the end of the month.
