A small glimmer of hope…they are still not turned on, but if you zoom out on the map in your vehicle and then tap the charging icon you will see a greyed out Superchaging icon with a 12 in it (number of stalls) pop up for about a second before it disappears again. It’s in the proper location. It took me 4 tries to get a picture of it

On the Pensacola Supercharger front I just noticed that the “Coming Soon” icon for Pensacola has been removed from the official map on the Tesla website. The only coming soon supercharger that it shows in the area now is the Gulf Breeze Supercharger.

I was able to make an account on the MyGovernmentOnline permitting website @RobbyK posted the original screenshot from, and the permit shows as Closed/Completed.

Still no change on the map in my car, but maybe we're finally about to see this come online.

Just tried two stalls, and they're no go. Both reported out of service when I plugged in, and I tried two banks (1 and 2).

Can confirm covers are off and the button on the charging cable does work to open the charge port on my car, however.

They might be “on” and they might be “hot”, but these Superchargers aren’t available for public use yet. Tried again today and still no joy.

Maybe tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the next.

I am really surprised they'd bother unwrapping them this far before they turned them on. Why not leave wrapped so everyone is clear they don't work yet.

I'd assume they unwrapped them assuming they were good to go, then an issue was found after the team left.
