Out of all the Irvine chargers including the V3s this is never busy and I think has to do with paid parking …at most costs a few bucks it’s better than waiting at the others I use these often I just wish they were V3a

Just wanted to let everyone know that this charger now grants you with a Tesla specific validation for charging. You get 45 mins+15 min exit period (so aka an hour total) for free with Tesla validation. They're slower than others in Irvine, but at least it's another option.

When you click the Supercharger location on your navigation, it gives you a code on your car's screen. When you arrive at the gate, press Tesla Validation=>I have a code=>ENTER CODE. Then you just scan the ticket when you leave.
Thanks. Sounds similar to the keycode parking access at the LINQ Superchargers in Las Vegas.

The validation seems to be helping and thanks for the tip! I may have a chance to try it as soon as tomorrow.
Oh wow, I've never had issues with the code here before. I have had issues with the gate and its timing/charging before. I did notice that when I went the other day, it didn't charge me even though I was there for more than an hour. The Tesla validation is only supposed to be for an hour...maybe some people complained and the parking company got tired of it. I personally got into it with the people over the help speaker and they hung up on me because I told them that the fee they were trying to charge me made no sense.

This site showed as temporarily closed when I last looked (yesterday I think).
Today it shows all 24 stalls as available. I wonder if they are having a fight with the landlord there?

You have to wonder. I think this site belongs near the top of the Worst Supercharger Placements list.

I didn't get the chance to visit this site over the weekend, but it still keeps showing 24 stalls available on the map, so something must still be wrong. Can anyone else report? Otherwise, I will look when I get the chance.
This site is definitely closed. The entire first floor of the parking structure is pretty much closed. I'm not sure if it has anything to do directly with the Supercharger, but it's not just the Supercharging spots that are closed off.
