Stopped by Elsinore yesterday. Just finishing installing the concrete tire stops. Lady in the office thought it would open at the end of the month.

Striping is done, but still no transformer as shown by vacant pad. No telling how long SCE will take. It could be 2 days or 2 months. Access is good here, but food options very limited. Closest restroom in back of building in Second photo. Post in foreground for possible canopy. I doubt it will be solar canopy, because I cannot see any battery cabinets in enclosure, and solar is usually paired with batteries to reduce demand charges.

Thanks for checking often, ravana. Most likely if you see activity, it is a team working for SCE installing the transformer on the vacant pad. I have never witnessed this step in SC construction, but it probably involves a large truck and crane because the transformer this large is very heavy. Once the transformer is in, Tesla only needs a day to activate if the inspections are done.

The electrical vault that will feed the transformer is about 10-15 yards from the pad. When I visited, it appeared to me that the trenching across this distance of pavement had not been done. I witnessed the installation of cable from vault to transformer when the Rancho Cucamonga SC was constructed. The three cables, one for each phase, were huge, with thick insulation to handle the extra high voltage.

Thanks for your report. I’ve changed the thread title.

Does this new site show in your car navigation as being an avaialble Supercharger?

It is not shown as operational on the Tesla website Find Us page, but that often lags behind the in car navigation

I think you meant It is not shown as operational on the Tesla website Find Us page.

You may need to make one more correction. The thread title currently says "LIVE 02-28-2012" but that's obviously not right.
the 2-28 wasn't right either, it wasn't live in the evening at around 7:30 PM PST on the 28th, I think it finally went live sometime Thursday morning on 3-1
Working great

Hey I think that was me parked next to you. I stopped by and got a Wetzel pretzel and some shoes.

Love this station , it's actually one of the best placed stations I've been to.
