I saw a model 3 plugged in and so I parked and plugged in overweekend also. But nothing.
Then I just left my car to go to one of the stores and it might look like I was charging but my car was only sucking on the straw in an empty glass.
It seems that they did fix the wheel stops to be placed properly.

It is amazing what one contractor can do to screw up a site that should have been so simple. Then not follow up with the proper paperwork to finish it makes it worse. IT can take longer to build it wrong,fix it, than doing it right the first time. I could say something about another site but will keep my fingers off the keyboard on how long a site could possibly take.

Parking garages in a dense environment are not that simple, all kinds of clearances and conditions have to be captured, planned for, and executed properly including supervision. With Electrify America gone in overdrive deploying their charging network there may be a shortage of qualified and experienced crews doing these deployments.
Morning y’all. Just got off the phone w/ Village @ Leesburg front desk. It appears that they just received word from the contractor that they’ll be coming out tomorrow (Wed. 7/16) to test everything / get them online. She seemed to think that they would be up & running either later tomorrow or Thursday (I’d assume kW levels might be funky at first), & made sure to mention that they would definitely be putting out social media posts on all platforms when they are online.
It’s funny how Tesla makes me feel like a kid waiting to open presents for months on end w/ this location lol.
Here’s to hoping our wait is almost over folks.

Well it looks like there wrapping it up. The last photo the guy has his high voltage gloves on so I would say it's live to the transformer.
Anyone get a picture of the meter? is it installed.
Then we wait for Tesla to throw the switch and check out the equipment.

FYI the Sheetz at south riding closed this morning and there are construction trailers there now. I wonder if they might install SC there while they remodel.
I saw Sheetz renovation charts and this site isn't even listed. Definitely not on the car charger lists. Hopefully something changed.

Correct, there is a meter department. The high voltage splicers are a very highly skilled group of electricians that are in high demand. You won't even see them pull cable. Dominion would run them from site to site none stop. Meter guys are also specialized, but also do the paperwork to set up the billing accounts. I just hope the one department transfers the paperwork to the other and get this site turned on.
Many, many layers of specialists with special skill sets and special task driven machines, all waiting on someone in the office to tell them where to go next.
I live in the apartments at Village and we just got an email about a power outage between 6-6:30AM this Friday from dominion related to improving the electrical distribution facilities. Hoping it’s related to the supercharger power work!

My bad, I just realized the picture of the transformer was the one in the island, not Tesla's. they must have pulled the High voltage down to the manhole and back up to that transformer. That will make a quick outage for Friday. They will simply land the cables on the transformer landing pads. That should just be 8 bolts to land Telsa's cables.
Anyone running the power guys coffee and Doughnuts?

Hi I was by there at 4pm - and was trying to go off address in supercharge.info - and after driving around for awhile, couldnt find it. I'd appreciate if someone could give clear directions if coming from east or west on Rt 7. thanks much. Of course, when does go live, i can use tesla nav to get me there.
