Supercharger - Newark, CA - Newark Blvd. (under construction Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Nicole Mossinger, via Tesla Owners of the East Bay Facebook, has reported a 12-stall Supercharger under construction on Newark Blvd, a block north of the civic center.

It appears to be in the parking lot of the shopping center on the southwest corner of Newark Blvd. and Mayhews Landing Rd., maybe in front of the Jade Palace restaurant.

I had to go look this up, but for people who were as clueless as me, Tri-Cities in this context means Fremont, Newark, and Union City.

Nerdy factoid. Fremont was incorporated in the 50s (IIRC) by the merging of 4 cities. The original proposal would have incorporated Newark and Union City into Fremont, but UC and Newark balked at the proposal and incorporated themselves first. Hence the weird city limits.

Still awaiting a transformer. Indeed close to Jade Palace, though it was the slots closest to La Hacienda were ICEd. Except for the handicapped/disabled slots, none are marked at EV-charging only, so ICEing would be allowable.
