Supercharger - El Monte, CA (under construction Nov 2023, V3 stalls)

Found the El Monte SC site that has been listed on the Tesla SC page for a while. Projected Q4 2023 opening as of now. Green fences have been up for over a month now but Tesla equipment didn't show up until earlier this week. A pin drop lists the address as 3828 Peck Rd, El Monte, CA 91732. The work is being done along the south side of the shopping center (along Ramona Blvd.) Looks like the actual SC posts will be on the far southwest corner of the center.

Is this 20 instead of 16?
In the middle picture, there are 16 pedestal bases bundled in pairs with nothing on top, then under the bags in the foreground there's another (pair?) bundled together.
If the 3 V3 cabinets in the 1st picture are the 3 hiding behind the forklift in the 2nd picture, plus 2 cabinets would make 5 cabinets, x 4 is 20 stalls.
There are 21 parking places along Ramona, plus 3 along Peck - can probably fit 20 stalls including 1 or 2 handicap plus the cabinets and switchgear.

No obvious online permit search I could find.

Not sure of the stall count, I think supercharge.info just puts 16 in as a placeholder? They are trenching along that whole southwestern corner though so it definitely seems like a bigger one.

They should have installed these near the new Target expected to open in beginning of 2024. Much bigger parking area and the pavement in better shape. It is just 0.3 miles away.


But still grateful they are installing one near me.

Update: One Supercharger at this location was destroyed about 2 days ago. Not sure if it was intentional or caused by a traffic collision, but one is down on the ground. See photo below:
