I find this strange. There is already a Supercharger 3 km away. Just a bit north on Montrose Rd. Is that location always full or something?

It was mentioned in the Eastern Canada thread that the old Canadian tire site was being turned into high density housing, so if re-development continues, that site may be closed.

Yes the Montrose location has lines with 5-10 minutes wait on the weekends

The Montrose location has now closed the restaurant there. I think the other businesses in that merchant area will all be gone soon and don’t think the SC’s will be there in a year from now.

Today I spoke with construction workers at the shuttered Swiss chalet site on montrose rd , they are building a Burger King, Taco Bell and at least one more he could not remember, but he also said ,when I mentioned a possible closure of the Tesla site, reply was not likely as the installed a couple of new units last week.

I can use a Taco Bell, and a burger King, maybe a KFC with that.

Today I went into the Town Hall. Spoke with a lady from planning, could not confirm as a building permit has not been issued, but she gave me the impression my information was correct and the business could be Pizza Hut as the three Hut outlets in the falls are all right in the tourist area. And with 275 new housing units going in makes sense.

Just went by. All landscape is done. Half the fencing is down and the transformer is installed. The post are still covered but feel like V3.

I’m guessing V3 as well. The bottom is partially uncovered and appears white like the V3 posts. Unless it’s missing a cover, I guess.
