Seems like a busy parking lot. Hopefully ICE situations dont get to be an issue. I mean the station would be full for sure 90% of the time, the western valley has a severe lack of superchargers with only Calabasas now.
There is also one in Granada Hills about 10 miles east of this location.Seems like a busy parking lot. Hopefully ICE situations dont get to be an issue. I mean the station would be full for sure 90% of the time, the western valley has a severe lack of superchargers with only Calabasas now.
yes but that one is a FULL no matter which day and/or time you go. Also Granada Hills is more center upper valley. Northridge will be covering the big are from Calabasas to Burbank and until Sherman Oaks open. They should be open around the same time. There is also one in Granada Hills about 10 miles east of this location.
The Granada Hills supercharger will be about 4 miles from this new one in Northridge. There is also one in Granada Hills about 10 miles east of this location.
Yes, I’ve mentioned it plenty of times that the Granada one is always packed. Even when I’m typing this at 1:40am, 9/16 stalls are open, meaning there are currently 7 cars charging in the early hours of the morning(or night).yes but that one is a FULL no matter which day and/or time you go. Agreed it's a bad spot, i would have loved to see a supercharger open at the Target on Corbin/Nordhoff. Huge parking lot by the Bob's big boy.The Granada Hills supercharger will be about 4 miles from this new one in Northridge.

But Granada and Northridge are bordering neighborhoods, where they connect to one another. I do not think people from Calabasas are going to venture to Northridge. That is deep in the Valley, just a couple miles from CSUN. I’d assume people from Calabasas would perhaps just go to TO or even Simi(The Simi one is great, it always has plenty of spots and the location is in the Target shopping center). And for Burbank as well. That’s quite the trip.
But I know exactly where this location is and it is a horrible, horrible spot to put the superchargers. But hopefully, this helps cut down the cluster that is Granada.
They chose this spot because Porto’s bakery, In n Out, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and chipotle are all within a 10 minute walking distance.Agreed it's a bad spot, i would have loved to see a supercharger open at the Target on Corbin/Nordhoff. Huge parking lot by the Bob's big boy.
Calabasas just opened their own new 20 stall supcharger at the calabasas commons. Calabasas, CA Supercharger | TeslaThe Granada Hills supercharger will be about 4 miles from this new one in Northridge.

Granted...but that parking lot is over crowded as is already..building the SC's in the portos parking lot would have been better, but probably cost more. They chose this spot because Porto’s bakery, In n Out, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and chipotle are all within a 10 minute walking distance.
That would be ideal. Yet, I’m surprised Porter Ranch and Chatsworth do not superchargers, particularly Porter Ranch where Tesla’s are a dime a dozen.Agreed it's a bad spot, i would have loved to see a supercharger open at the Target on Corbin/Nordhoff. Huge parking lot by the Bob's big boy.
Porter Ranch would be great by the vineyards...whole foods, AMC theater and a bunch of restaurants. Although, they do have some free L2 chargers in front of Whole Foods that are rarely 100% occupied.I

True but that parking is also always busy and packed very time I pass by there.Granted...but that parking lot is over crowded as is already..building the SC's in the portos parking lot would have been better, but probably cost more.
They could have done it in the underground structure, that prob would have worked out.True but that parking is also always busy and packed very time I pass by there.
It is not turned on yet. Hopefully when is on the high flow of Teslas coming in to charge dont let ICE a**holes time to block a spot.I’m kind of shocked. I figured this place is so busy that there wouldn’t even be a chance to get ICEd.
Uffffff this place will be an ICE blocking stalls conflict constantly looks like. I mean the signage has to be pretty damn good and aggressive with the wording.
