There is also one in Granada Hills about 10 miles east of this location.
The Granada Hills supercharger will be about 4 miles from this new one in Northridge.

yes but that one is a FULL no matter which day and/or time you go. Also Granada Hills is more center upper valley. Northridge will be covering the big are from Calabasas to Burbank and until Sherman Oaks open. They should be open around the same time.
Yes, I’ve mentioned it plenty of times that the Granada one is always packed. Even when I’m typing this at 1:40am, 9/16 stalls are open, meaning there are currently 7 cars charging in the early hours of the morning(or night).

But Granada and Northridge are bordering neighborhoods, where they connect to one another. I do not think people from Calabasas are going to venture to Northridge. That is deep in the Valley, just a couple miles from CSUN. I’d assume people from Calabasas would perhaps just go to TO or even Simi(The Simi one is great, it always has plenty of spots and the location is in the Target shopping center). And for Burbank as well. That’s quite the trip.

But I know exactly where this location is and it is a horrible, horrible spot to put the superchargers. But hopefully, this helps cut down the cluster that is Granada.

Agreed it's a bad spot, i would have loved to see a supercharger open at the Target on Corbin/Nordhoff. Huge parking lot by the Bob's big boy.

I

That would be ideal. Yet, I’m surprised Porter Ranch and Chatsworth do not superchargers, particularly Porter Ranch where Tesla’s are a dime a dozen.
Porter Ranch would be great by the vineyards...whole foods, AMC theater and a bunch of restaurants. Although, they do have some free L2 chargers in front of Whole Foods that are rarely 100% occupied.

This is going to be a problem. I can already see KTLA doing a news report of Tesla and Ice drivers getting into arguments over these spots. For the life of me, I have no idea why they decided on this location. This parking lot is always busy.

In Chatsworth, there is a vacant lot on De Soto and Plummer, where it was formerly a gas station that would have been a nice spot.

I do most of my charging at home, but having supercharger options near by is always pleasant. But they are mostly packed.
