What pedestals? All I see are the prefab pedestal bases.

Bruce.
The concrete things are what everyone is referring to as the pedestal. I think plans typically refer to them as "footings". Tesla refers to what sits on top of it as a "Post", FWIW.

These footings are the new type that can accommodate either V3 or V4 Superchargers which is why they are typically referred to as V4 pedestals. The older ones are oval on the part that sticks out above ground.

I don't think that's how people here on TMC usually use the term "pedestal". The "pedestal" (a.k.a. "post") is the vertical object, about 4-5 feet tall, that has a charge cable hanging from it and usually has the TESLA word mark. The "pedestal base" is the concrete thing in the ground. The terms "post" and "footing" don't seem to get used quite as much in the owner/enthusiast community, by my observation...

Looks like there may be both back in and side charging. Pull through side charging would open it up to a whole bunch more vehicles. Will be looking for dock evidence soon. If they do that, it will obsolete almost every 50kw DCFC in Pasadena. The 20 on the top of the Marengo garage come to mind.

Some of if not all of the side charging will not be pull through. Picture #4 shows side chargers backed up against the large soon to be concrete pad. Going to be a large block building surrounding much of the equipment.

The last remaining non-paved section was trenched with conduit now installed. I'm thinking this is the main power delivery to the not yet installed transformer from the previously done work on Shoppers Lane. Prior underground conduit maybe only supported the charging pedestals.
