Unlike some of the other choices I have seen around here (I'm looking at YOU, Whole Foods San Rafael) this is a great location, serving the Ross valley and filling an important gap. Easy in and out, large parking lot, lots of amenities, perfect.

I drove past this site today but didn't realize it until I was almost past it. Sorry, no pictures, but it looked like the charger cabinets were still wrapped up in the white Tesla Energy bags.

The only problem is that it doesn’t look like it will ever get installed!

I drove by the Supercharger in Almaden Valley Dublin for two years after they finished the Tesla part of the install before they installed the transformer. PG&E is just outta control.

I am guessing that PG&E is devoting all their resources to storm recovery and to counting their money from their obscene earnings report last week.

The lack of posts does make you wonder how many people out this way need to charge their Tesla. This is certainly the longest construction going at the moment

This permit expires in just a couple of weeks on 7/1/2024. I'm amazed this one has been pending for so long. It's definitely needed. The one at Whole Foods often has a wait.

420 Days today

If the cost of the permit here in Alameda is any indication that's a lotta money to let expire. I KNOW that there have been other Superchargers that have started construction after this one and finished (obviously) earlier than this one. What could be the hold up? I think there have been sites that took much longer than this one has so far, but this is certainly one of the longest pending

I was able to confirm that the delay is.... drumroll please... PG&E!
The only company worst that Comcast....

I drove by last night and there was a backhoe and equipment... looks like active work going on again at this much-needed site.
