Tesla is seeking approval for building permit B22-1374 for the construction of a 12 stall supercharger with an address of 26701 Verdugo St, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675. The permit was filed 10/17/22 and is currently under review.
Just for context, Paddy's Station is right here next to Trevor's at the tracks / the Amtrak train station for San Juan. There is a large parking structure here as well but the plans show the spots in the open lot at Paddy's.
Also, what's the best way to find the status of these permits? I guess the problem is that every city is different and some may not even make the info public? Perhaps email each city individually might be better than trying to figure out their respective websites.
thank you for the photos! For those who visit this thread when it is open in the future, the San Juan Capistrano Mission is just a few blocks away from here. Really worth the visit! Mission San Juan Capistrano - Mission San Juan Capistrano
I think we can upgrade this to under construction now with posts in the ground. They are making good progress and I noticed that some of the posts were oriented differently apparently to save some trees which is a nice touch.
Turn it on!!!

One block to the south Mission San Juan Capistrano.
And if you do BBQ, again one block south, Heritage Barbecue, the best in SoCal. Your welcome!
Place is definitely ready to turn on. Electrical/cabinets are all installed and clean. Construction tape behind chargers is for walkway/cement, not for electrical conduit. Just collecting dust until go-live.
Is there a transformer? I don't see one above, but I haven't visited in a while. I expect San Diego Gas & Electric is holding it up just like at Kaleidoscope. Done for months and waiting for a green box... again! These green boxes are really starting to get on my nerves.
Some pics from today. A lot more is going on than I was expecting, with an earth mover here and a great many metal plates. A couple Teslas are plugged in but just for show, presumably.
Updates from yesterday. Still a bunch of stuff onsite but the transformer pad area looks ready again.
Also I hope the parking arrangement gets squared away especially during busy times like this. I know the stalls are off but most had ice cars parked in them. And a fee was apparently being charged for most of the lot. Although the sign for that was after the stalls, the parking attendant appeared to take exception to me parking in them so I left right away.
