I went by today and there were several trucks working on the transformers.

Awesome news. I moved to San Marcos a couple of months ago and have been eagerly awaiting this Station. I’m not fond of driving to La Costa charging station.

This is the first location where I have seen these interesting charge cord protectors attached to some of the charge cables. I imagine this is to prevent stress on the cable?

Odd. That design seems that it would just concentrate any bending stress over a shorter area just below the handle. But perhaps it helps to keep the insulation in place, preventing it from being pulled out from the handle? That's a failure mode I've seen pictures of posted here.

Not working well this morning, I was only able to get 50 miles in 35 minutes.
