Saturday morning 1/11 still no power. I got a picture of the label on one of the control cabinets. I think it services four chargers since there are four of these cabinets and 16 chargers. It says 250kW per post.
Curiously, they're reworking the disabled access parking spots today (1/22/2020):
From the looks of things, I'm guessing there must be some requirement for these disabled access parking spaces to not have a slope and that they failed some sort of inspection. Note how this raised section cuts down into the middle of the neighboring stall.
This is what it looked like two weeks ago (1/9/2020) as they painted the lines:
I stopped by this evening (1/22). Though the chargers didn’t have power, I could hear the transformer humming! Apparently the site is all ready to fire up, and just waiting for final approval per the previous message.
I checked again last night. No power, but the lights were on. The new parking pad for the handicap space looks like it needs work. It has a steep edge that makes the third parking space totally unusable. Not sure what they have in mind.
Okay, they smoothed over the steep grade from the new concrete pad on the leftmost two stalls to the surrounding area with asphalt, including the neighboring stalls. And they've repainted the lines and markings.
NAH - that's not ICE'ing - that just the new 500 mile range EV BMW trying out the secret Tesla compatible induction supercharging - my fellow man would never be that rude.
There are 5 or six Teslas charging here at any given time while I have been here charging for an hour. It is not even on the map yet. Damn this one is gonna be really busy with possible wait times.
