Construction is behind Mod Pizza, but there is a nice seating area between the buildings which also allows you access to the shops without walking around the buildings.

Construction is right where the GPS coordinates are above. This is going to be a great spot, with 16 chargers, walking access to lots of choices for food, and quick access to both 45 and 99.

This location has been dormant for since mid November. After the trenching behind the curb I’ve seen no movement. The precast concrete bases have not moved and they are typically the first things to be positioned after the big dig.

It appears the new transformer (serving the Superchargers) will be fed from the existing transformer which would eliminate the need for a new set of feeders coming from the utilities right of way. The transformer for College Station is fed in the same manner.

Behind curb trenching has been filled and most of the work has shifted to installing the conduit for the equipment pad(s).

The equipment side of this site is a bit more complicated than the normal sites due to the new transformer (serving SC) receiving power through the existing transformer which serves the shopping center.

Conduit from existing transformer on the right goes to a tap box. And then to the new transformer on far left. And then to to switch gear (tall structure in the middle). And then finally to the SuperCharger cabinets in the far background of the picture. From the SC cabinets each charging pedestal is fed. Or at least I think that the routing.

Tesla equipment pad which the supercharger cabinets will set on has been poured.

Tesla cabinets have been placed on the newly poured equipment pad and the wires have been pulled from cabinets to charging pedestal bases.

New 1500 kVA transformer is in place next to the existing 500 kVA unit.
