Had lunch in this plaza yesterday and took some pics. Looks like a little bit of progress. Looks like trenching work is in progress and the cabinets look like a new addition from the last set of photos.

Based on the city's permitting website I can only conclude that Tustin's inspectors are doing an overly thorough job ensuring all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.

I can only hope they're just as thorough when it comes to the 32-pump gas station Costco wants to build about a mile down the street.

I drove by there a couple days ago. Slow progress and still pretty messy, but looked like most of the holes in the ground were filled.

I went by today (8/26/21) about noon. Some stalls are up but covered with bags. I will try to post photos but it was very bright and I couldn't see the phone very well as I was holding it above the construction fence.

Drove by yesterday and asked a worker on site status. He told me they were done with charger installation, just waiting for SCE to light it up. Could take couple weeks to months etc. Workers were onsite so picture is off at a distance.

Interesting as I was there about 3:30 to 4:00 yesterday and it didn't seem changed one whit from when I was there just under two weeks ago. In fact, one of the construction vehicles was parked in exactly the same way. And, I saw no evidence of landscaping or striping. Just want to clear up my confusion if for no other reason.

I talked to a guy standing by his truck taking a break right next to fence opening. Inside fence area there were a few people talking about the site. I was there around 11am Tuesday.

Drove by last week. A few workers were onsite. Not sure doing what, two guys were dragging a machine over the trenched area. Nothing much changed.
