Hi all.

Just found a permit for a “Tesla Charging Station” at a Wawa in Virginia Beach (2501 Virginia Beach Blvd).

The permit valuation is $65000, and the work will be done by Leading Edge Services. The permit was filed a year ago today, and is still listed as active. Will add on Supercharge Info!

It's moving! Here's a pic from a couple pf days ago. Looks like 6 to 8 charging stations. Wawa is right across the street from Pep Boys.

Drove by today. The cabinets are still packaged up, but it looks like they have the transformer and distribution panel set up.

I rode by this morning. Pedestals and signs are all set up and there were a couple of guys working on the transformer. One parking spot still needs to be paved (looked like it was dug up for the install).

I was on my bike on the way to work and didn’t have a lot of time to take off my gloves and dig out my phone for a picture.

Why does this say target opening Q3 now on Tesla site? Seems like it should be active within a couple months. And this one is really needed. I've never had good experience at Norfolk charger: slow, broken chargers, lines.

I saw a charging pedestal on site yesterday (sorry no pics). Seems like a strange location unless you wanted to wait in the Wawa or the Lowe's

Should be open in the next week or so. It looks ready for commissioning now. The local Facebook group has some recent pictures. I'll find one

Always is. They usually have to get in the queue for final commissioning. Hopefully the wait isn't too long.
