Supercharging Restricted to 80%

Pulled into Washington Square Supercharger around 7:30am to charge up as I usually do and found that even though there was only one other car charging (all other charging slots were empty), Tesla automatically restricted my charge to 80% (I typically charge to 90%). I can see restricting charge % if the supercharger is busy, but, was disappointed to find Tesla restrict charging % when the Supercharger is almost empty.

Happened to me in Ocala Florida. Only one or two other cars there. I needed the juice, too.

Just slide the charge percentage over to 90 or 100. It should allow you to do that.

It’s entirely based on SC, not time- or use-dependent. Yes, probably dumb, but it’s Tesla ruling.
