SW FL Tesla Group

Hello Tesla owners and enthusiast. It's been a long 7 months since our last gathering in beautiful SW FL. Now that the holidays are behind us and our greatly missed snowbirds are back, I thought we can plan a meet up. For those that do not know, SW FL Tesla Group is a regional group within the Florida Tesla Enthusiast Club.
I'm going to attempt to throw out some potential dates and would appreciate some feedback of which would be more feasible for you. Most likely the date with the greatest interest will in all probability be our winner. We can gather for lunch or an early dinner. As far as the place, I thought it would be more convenient for everyone to meet near the Supercharger. There is now several new restaurants in Gulf Coast Town Center. Once we settle on a date and I have an estimate of people attending, I can gather more information on a location.

If you are interested you can either post on this thread or private message me. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again and welcoming new owners around the area. Of course anyone from outside the area that would like to attend are more then welcome. This would be a great opportunity to use the Ft. Myers Supercharger.

I thought that the Islamorada treated us very well at our last function and handled a large crowd very well.

I recently went to Connors Steak & Seafood for lunch and thought it was great. I'm not sure how well they can accommodate a large group.

I think that will be our best option too Larry if we draw a large group. Connors would be for a smaller group option.

My two favorites Tesla and Connor's. Ill try and make it.
I just read this thread and was going to suggest Connors but you all beat me to it. Lunch deals atmosphere and friendly staff can't be beat.
Andrew is the Manager there and I am sure he will assist. I have his card if you need a contact.
We spoke in the past about putting a charger in at the restaurant before the supercharger plan was revealed so I know he will be receptive.
118 miles one way for me but Connors is worth it.

I look forward to meeting you Mark. Connor's is also a favorite of mine. I spoke to Richard who said he was also a manager. He was extremely friendly and even showed me where we can park all the cars together.


We are one week away, and so far about 30 guest have RSVP. We can still accommodate more so please let me know if you are able to attend.

Really wanted to join in but I just landed about 2am and just got home so I think I'll have to pass this time. I'll be overnighting there on Monday anyway so I'll still get my Connor's fix at lunch Tuesday. LOL
I was told Andrew left the restaurant business unfortunately by Matt Williams, managing partner. In an email he seemed just as friendly.
