This morning, I received 2nd text message from Tesla. It asked me to complete my delivery info (which I did last weekend). In the text, it says I could message back with my question and they will respond. Well, Tesla did! Brandon called me back around noon; he said he is my personal Model Y delivery specialist.

Question: what's the final Model Y dimensions?
Answer: he doesn't have the final dimensions. They will release the official info within days. But expect it to be shorter than Model S.

Question: what's the official Tesla Model Y insurance cost?
Answer: he doesn't know the official Tesla insurance and it's not offered at this moment. I need to contact Tesla Insurance to get more info (that's a separate entity than delivery).

Question: does Tesla Finance offer rate match like Model S, X, 3?
Answer: No, not at this moment. I need to contact finance department on when they will offer that. I need to be prepared that it might not happen anytime soon.

Question: when is my delivery?
Answer: For me, it's between March 15 - 30. Cars are coming to the delivery center. No VIN has been assigned to anyone or any configuration, therefore they don't know when is the actual delivery time.

Good info, thanks for sharing! Two things: USAA is great for insurance and Navy FCU has the best loan rates - if eligible of course. I already sold my M3 and got pre-approved for a loan, ready to go... :)

NFCU was so easy to work with. Had my approval in two hours ready to cut check. But I went with my same credit union I have my model 3 loan with. Beat the rate by a full percent.
