Temperature reading while charging

noticed something this morning and wanted some feedback. Got to my car this morning while it was just finishing charging at home and when I got into the car, the dash temperature (indicating external weather) showed 27 degrees (Celsius). I'm parked in an underground garage where at this time of year the temperature is 5-10 degrees Celsius. Wishing 3-4 minutes of driving off, the temperature started showing accurately at 3 degrees.

Normally I get into my car 2-3 hours after its finished charging and it's always shown a proper temperature so I'm not sure if this is normal or if the battery/charging is heating up too much?

Anyone else notice this?

I'm charging with hpwc at 40amps (50 amp breaker)

Yes, during charging, the heat from charging can "hang out" near the sensor. The car only runs fans when necessary to maintain its target temperatures, saving power.

I've had my car show about 30-35 degC when it's only 25 out.
