Is it possible that the team working on software fixes, is a different team that works on the fun stuff. ...
They are likely not cross compatible, so the team is the team.

They don't have a "game/arcade" team though, so there's that.

All the games actually added so far are either:

100% old off-the-shelf emulated games Tesla did not develop at all.

or

A racing game a 3rd party developed.


They have one guy who in his spare time added a menu to launch the games- that's about it.

It’s not an engine, it’s a chess reluctance motor!

... and, with Musk in charge of porting, it will probably have special features like “knight takes queen ... everybody takes queen ... it’s good to be the king”.

TeslaFi shows 2019.24.4 is the latest release still. So much for "rolling out today". It's been a week. Maybe that was EAP only?? They should really wait on the post until it is actually rolling out to the main fleet.
