My car is in at the moment having a boot lid replaced/fixed and had this report below from Tesla:
We have conducted a vigorous water test & found the following:
1: Carried out substantial water test on vehicle,
2: Found multiple areas of water ingress,
3: One from the body seam on the right hand side of the boot,
4: One from the body seam on the left hand side of the boot
5: Charge port wet area seal wasn’t sealing properly so required a new one.
They are also doing a recall fix - Electrical socket fix
If anyone is interested the works are carried out here - Individual Specialist Cars Birmingham, Western Road, B18 7QD. My app and Teslafi shows me its location and its been sitting in their car park for a week at 30% charge but luckily lost only 1% after i turned sentry mode off the day it arrived there)
This seems to be where tesla sends the cars to get works carried out if they are not able too at the service centre.
On a side note - i could honk the horn on my app!
