    A simple thought? Maybe.

It has been speculated that Tesla reads threads in this forum so.......

I'm quite sure that the details about charging credits will be out before the end of the year, however I wonder if it will be possible to purchase someone Tesla Charging Credits as a Christmas gift. Maybe I can buy someone another 1000 miles of charging?

Seems like an inexpensive gesture that many people may appreciate and use throughout the year. It would be a gift that keeps on giving. (for 12 months)

It could replace the iTune and Starbucks gift card as the most popular stocking stuffer :)

Could be a new, non-controversial pathway for referral credits in the future. Refer someone, get SpC credit.

I'm would be willing to buy someone credits that don't even have a Tesla deposit down yet. Maybe that will encourage them to buy one - just to use their gift card. LOL

Not a bad idea at all. Companies always come out ahead with gift cards because they are instantly paid before the good/service is redeemed, and the amount of people that either lose or forget to use them becomes surplus revenue.

Not to hijack the thread, but judging by your username, are you a Purdue grad?

Seems like a great idea. You can buy a prepaid Gas Card and give it as a gift.

Absolutely. and again $56 here in Illinois gets you the free 400kWh that Tesla gives away for free ($.14kWh). LOL

Actually on a good month, I could get 400kWh for $35 ($.08kWh). LOL
