Tesla delivery process always this much of a headache?

I was going to get a CPO Model S, but then was told I could still get a M3 before the first to take advantage of the tax credit. I placed an order and delivery is supposed to be this Friday. However, I logged into my account today and noticed the price was raised by $1500. I checked and it seems they added 19" wheels to my car--wheels I did not choose (I have the original invoice to prove it). I have been trying to get in touch with my delivery specialist for 2 days but he wont reply to emails and sales say I must talk to him. Not only that, I still do not have a document I need to finalize the financing and get the car paid for. Delivery is in less than 2 days and I do not know how it will be made now. Surely Tesla service is not always this bad is it?

I have seen that Tesla is matching people to cars that are available and sometimes that results in a free upgrade to the 19" wheels. But it seems that they don't necessarily communicate that well.

Except they are trying to charge me for them
Trying to is the operative word. A copy of your original invoice without the 19" wheels should be sufficient to get the $1500 charge waived. They have the car locally and are highly motivated to record it as delivered (and paid) in December. So unless they have another buyer at the same store who wants that exact configuration, they should be willing to waive the charge and deliver it to you at the original price.

Lol, that encouraging. Seriously though, I have never had this much trouble trying to pay a company.
Tesla lost my $60k check after I drove the car home. I called 1.5 months later asking when I'd get my plates at which point they said I hadn't gotten a payment check yet. I'm like, WTF! Obviously I had given them a check otherwise they wouldn't have let me drive the vehicle home. In the end, I had to get another check from my credit union.
