Tesla Insurance Issue - Car Loan not receiving Insurance?

I was checking my mint.com and saw that my car loan amount an astonishing $10k collateral protection insurance added on Friday (5/22/2020) via the charge - "CPI added no ins rcvd". I've had Tesla insurance since September of last year and also had a similar issue with the DMV requiring me to provide the necessary insurance docs there.

Anyone whose had Tesla insurance have issues with their car loans this way?

I have Tesla Insurance but no loan as I paid cash, but I’m pretty sure Tesla Insurance does report to the DMV as I haven’t had to provide DMV with anything. I’d just forward a copy of the policy and current ID card to the finance company.

I paid in full cash, too. However, I had received a notice of cancellation of my vehicle registration from DMW because DMV doesn’t have my liability insurance information. It seem’s like that Tesla insurance is new and DMW doesn’t recognize the NCIC number. I provided a copy of my Tesla insurance card and the issue was solved.

I've had Tesla Insurance for about 6 months (which is really just National - but for Teslas). Didn't have that issue at renewal. But great that it was resolved.

Going through the clean up process of my account right now and the cause was due to a lack of a loss payee be associated with my bank.
