Tesla July orders- MYLR Delivery Status

I ordered on July 25, EDD has not changed for more than a month, can anyone tell me what it means

I'm pretty much the same on order date and EDDs. It dissapeared multiple times and recalculated. Just the way it works...

AFAIK However as entry date to EDD gets closer, and you enter the reliability window on the span of dates is pretty much accurate. As far as a VIN, I imagine that you receive one when a matching vehicle to your spec is on a train to your destination. From what I've seen, delivery day settles in about 2 weeks after receiving VIN.

My EDD’s ends date got moved up by two weeks. Send to be narrowing again…. Hopefully a sign. It’s now 10/13-10/27.
I’m hoping my SA is right!

This Morning my EDD moved to Oct, 15 - Oct 29 from Oct, 10 - Oct 30. Hoping for VIN soon.

EDD has been pushed forward to 11/16-12/14 it was 11/5 to 11/25 for last 6 weeks.

I've been checking and just saw a new EDD: Nov 10 - Dec 8

My current EDD is 10/16-11/05. I just asked my SA this morning and he said he saw on his system that I’ll be issued a VIN on 10/26 (could be sooner or later). I certainly hope I can complete all paper work by the 11/1 deadline before the state incentive cuts in half.

Update: OD:07/14/2021, just received VIN, Specs: MYLR, Red, White interior,20 inch Gemini wheels, no fsd, no tow, 5 seats, Napperville,Illinois pickup.Now showing EDD:10/24-10/27.

Can you put on a vin decoder, and see if made in Fremont or Austin?

Austin has not started full scale manufacturing (trust me the whole world will know when they do) .. Tesla is still doing 2021 models from Fremont.

I know. Just checking. You never know. Unable to make a decision if I should postpone delivery of our MY (current EDD 10/25-11/3) in a hope to have a wild chance of landing an Austin made car in a couple of months. Order date was 7/15/2021.

Austin is close .. prob by Nov/Dec ... with the same battery pack as current Fremont models but maybe with the new structural frames. Best of luck!!

letitgr0w - My order is nearly identical to yours, even same date. I ordered FSD is the only difference. EDD was 11/15-12/15 but changed 1 week ago to 11/1-11/30. I've been resisting the urge to buy a used one, but not worth the add'l cost.

7/9 OD. White LR 5 Seats. Was issued a VIN this evening (MF284xxx). It’s Fremont and model year 2021.
