Tesla part numbers (1234567-00-A)

I have read online about the issue of what the part numbers are and so far this is what I have found
the first 7 digits are used as the actual part number and that will differ mainly between different years, for example when the MCU changed from Nvidia to Atom.
The last letter is normally the revision number so the higher then technically better but I am not 100% sure
Then the middle 2 numbers are unknown to me.

In example I am trying to buy the power conversion system from tesla. My one has part number 1135558-02-C (1135558 - part number, 02 - not sure what this means, C-revision number) but the only available from Tesla are 1135558-05-A and 1135558-55-A. Would this 05 be good to use in the car?

Feel free to fill in a gaps in this knowledge as it seems that tesla is not happy to share much knowledge regarding this and it would be helpful to alleviate some confusion for people like me when trying to buy replacement parts.
