Tesla Taiwanese Supplier HOTA increasing output to 5K weekly

They probably still have some space in the factory itself (for now), but they also have a new gigantic storage facility right next to the line. This is an older pic under construction, and I'm hearing it's done now or "done enough" to store stuff:

So there are two possibilities right there.

It's done - this is the second one that was completed recently (at least on the outside). The first one had been done months ago.

Given the need for Tesla rapidly to increase production and the need to have parts ahead of production, it doesn't _really_ say that their problems are solved. They might just be being optimistic on the timeline (again).
Except your arguments would have held true months ago, so they would have already built up an inventory to start production along the rosy timeline.

I am going to guess that HOTA is supplying axle half-shafts assembled with CV joints. So two per car for single-motor M3.

Even if this is true, the number increased by 70% to the original rate, which could mean 5,000 Model 3's per week.

It's important to keep in mind this is supplier rumors though... on the other hand, previous rumors from this supplier proved correct.
