Tesla Tire Kit worth it?

Is the Tesla tire kit worth it or should I just buy one of those plug kits to use with my 12v compressor? Buying another compressor seems silly and I've never used that foam stuff before.

Tesla gave me one in my swag bag, and whoa, I thought cool.
3 flats later, I still have no idea how to use it.

if you already have a compressor it makes little sense to buy another one, just get a plug/patch kit to go with it, the "goo" should only be used in extreme situations.
there is no difference between tesla tires and tires found on other vehicles.

As said, I'd avoid using the gunk at all costs or only in some extreme situation like a perilous roadside or neighborhood. The stuff permanently trashes your tire which sucks if it's only in need of a simple patch repair.

The current Goodyears have a foam liner to reduce road noise. This makes spraying in the goo even more problematic for tire repair.
