Most people don't realize the huge threat regulatory bodies pose to solar growth. It's gonna be a long, hard slog; state by state. Unlike with automobiles, a hands-down compelling product won't be enough to win.

Solar is the final and necessary step to cutting off the head of fossil fuels. It will also be the most difficult and painstaking.

Agreed. The entrenched interests make it difficult. But a little organization at the local level can go a long way. Just allowing solar coops to operate legally in Arizona would really open the floodgates for solar here.

It'll happen. And I'll do my best to make Tesla a major beneficiary.
